We are excited to be a sponsor of National SUP Day, taking place across the country on June 10th! The special day was created by NEXT Swimwear, one of SwimSpot’s favorite brands. 

Many SUP (stand up paddle boarding) enthusiasts and fans will head to the Newport Aquatic Center in Newport Beach - as well as other locations across the US - to STAND UP and celebrate the burgeoning sport of SUP. The free event will also raise awareness of the health benefits the sport offers those affected with cystic fibrosis. At each of the National SUP Day events around the country the local Cystic Fibrosis Foundation chapter will be on hand with their volunteers and the kids with CF that they support. We envision lots of kids and families having a blast; enjoying a great day in the sun!   

Our SwimSpot staff takes pride in supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation throughout the year. This event is just one more way that we can help bring smiles to the faces of young people who were born with CF. The foundation does such great work raising money and awareness in the hopes of finding a cure. If you want to get involved or learn more about CF, visit cff.org.

Some of our own SwimSpot staff will be out in Newport SUPing for the first time.  Hopefully we’ll stay upright, but a fall into NB’s warm water will be fun!
