Animal Prints

This is a guest blog by Sydne Summer of ThinkThruFashion.com.

Animal prints come and go every season. But this month, they're roaring louder than ever. What's so great about this trend is you can choose to wear as much or as little of it as you like.

Go all out like Jennifer Lopez, who paired a leopard Monique Lhuillier dress with a matching Christian Louboutin clutch. Or try a safari chic statement like Khloe Kardashian, who topped off cargo pants with Alexander spotted wedges. Feeling colorful? Embrace the 80s with pink, blue or green prints, like Paris Hilton just did on her way to Cannes.

Of course, you can bring the trend to the beach as well. Luxe by Lisa Vogel, Athena swimsuit and Reef played with bright spots while Hurley kept it to classic black and white zebra. But my fave is Guess' Wild at Heart bikini. The ruffles add a playful, girlie element to the sexy spots.

And don't be afraid to splurge. The trend is continuing to meow into Fall.

  • Look Good, Feel GoodFall is finally here! Time to dig up those scarves, boots, and cardigans buried deep inside your closet. In terms of fashion, this is definitely my favorite time of year – I especially love the bold pops of color that are trending this season. And of course, the layers! But unfortunately, being bundled up in sweaters and coats doesn’t quite give me the motivation to work out. I won’t be sporting a bikini any time soon anyways so what’s the point, right? Wrong! We’re all aiming for that perfect beach body once Spring rolls along, so why not start working for it now? Getting toned and fit is a gradual process—although I’m sure we all wish it would happen overnight. Swimsuit season will be coming around the corner before you know it, so save yourself from the intense dieting and exercise the week before spring break and start now!
