I think we can all agree that stress is a natural part of life. We work, maintain relationships, take care of ourselves, and sometimes crazily try to balance this all and more! The pressing question we would all like to know is how much stress is simply too much?!

The answer? Use helpful reminders like post it’s, planners, and calendars. Heck – use your iPhone and set reminders! Simply writing it down in any form and putting it in plain sight significantly increases your chance of going through with your intended action.
Oddly enough stress can now actually affect your mouth. Not only causing jaw pain but inducing sore and bleeding gums. Bacteria in your mouth are more likely to build up due to tension, eventually producing inflammation and irritation. What an icky side effect! To fix; Make sure you keep up with your brushing, two to three times a day and of course flossing! If needed also try a bacteria nixing mouth wash for the deepest clean. If it continues don’t hesitate in calling your dentist, we know.. everyone’s worst nightmare, but having an unhealthy mouth could lead to yet again.. more stress! Bottom line keep those pearly whites shiny!
Finally, the devil of them all, our periods! While every menstrual cycle is unpleasant, stress can actually make this natural event even worse! This is because certain chemicals in your body cause uterine contractions to feel significantly worse when stressed. Fix this painful dilemma by simply relaxing! Take deep breaths, use heating pads, refrain from caffeine, and best of all coax your boyfriend into giving you a massage. Hey you have a good excuse this time!
