Breakfast! Easy as 1,2,3!

Breakfast has always been my favorite meal of the day. So why be lazy and limit yourself from the many sweet and salty foods typically eaten in the mornings? Not only are breakfast foods utterly divine, but they can be very healthy for you too! Now this is definitely a win-win situation. Research has shown that people who consistently eat breakfast have more energy throughout the day and are more prone to having a faster metabolism. And with the hot heat of summer coming up, we all know what that means, swimsuit season! So get to a market and start stocking up on some scrumptious breakfast foods while simultaneously slimming up for the upcoming swim season. Here are a few of some of my favorite healthy and mouthwatering breakfast foods:

1) Oatmeal comes in numerous delectable flavors, making it easy to liven up your choices. You can either buy instant oatmeal packets if you’re in a rush in the morning or for a healthier choice, whole grain can be easily made through boiling water. Spice up your oatmeal with toppings such as dried or fresh fruits, various nuts, brown sugar, or even some sweet honey.

2) In a rush? Yogurt is one of the easiest breakfasts to eat on-the-go. There are countless flavors to satisfy your cravings from something fruity and light to something sweet but still healthy such as a vanilla or strawberry cheesecake flavor!

3) Want something light and cool? Fresh fruits such as bananas, apples, oranges, blueberries, and strawberries are all delicious and simple to eat while satisfying your morning hunger. If you have a little more time try tossing some of these fruits together into a sweet and enticing fruit salad.

4) Want something a little more savory? Make some eggs! I never get tired of eggs since there are so many ways to make them. Make them simply hard-boiled, sizzling sunny side up, or soft and fluffy scrambled eggs, not to mention, my personal favorite, an omelet.

Now get up, don’t be lazy, and start your day right and give your body the ample fuel it needs with some quick, easy, and tasty breakfast! Keep it up and you’ll be ready to strut your stuff in a Guess Bikini in no time! For me, I can’t wait for tomorrow morning so I can start my day with my favorite meal and get myself into a new designer bathing suit or two.

  • Look Good, Feel GoodFall is finally here! Time to dig up those scarves, boots, and cardigans buried deep inside your closet. In terms of fashion, this is definitely my favorite time of year – I especially love the bold pops of color that are trending this season. And of course, the layers! But unfortunately, being bundled up in sweaters and coats doesn’t quite give me the motivation to work out. I won’t be sporting a bikini any time soon anyways so what’s the point, right? Wrong! We’re all aiming for that perfect beach body once Spring rolls along, so why not start working for it now? Getting toned and fit is a gradual process—although I’m sure we all wish it would happen overnight. Swimsuit season will be coming around the corner before you know it, so save yourself from the intense dieting and exercise the week before spring break and start now!
