Get Younger Looking Skin the Organic Way

We know that everyone is dreading summer vacation officially ending, but that doesn't mean we have to settle with over drying fall skin!  Here are some quick fixes for keeping that radiant summer glow that will make heads turn!

I know celebrities are turning to botox these days, but not everyone can afford the price or even the pain. Here are four healthy and organic ways to get fabulous skin, PAIN FREE!

An Orange a Day Keeps the Blemishes Away!
According to Jenny Kim MD, PhD, those who had higher intake of vitamin C were associated with a lower case of wrinkles and aging dryness. Stock up on OJ and citrus fruits so you can wave goodbye to aging!

Colorful Veggies
Experts say antioxidants are the way to go for beautiful skin color. According to Michael Roizen, MD, loading up on colorful vegetables, fruits, and green tea is the secret to keeping radiant color! Try avoiding saturated and trans fats, added sugars and even syrups that are bad for your body inside and out. So hit the grocery store and stock up on veggies and fruits, and don't forget that box of green tea to help warm you up on a cold fall night!

E.V.O.O Please! (as Rachel Ray Would Say)
Yes summer is over, but we can still look as if we just escaped to the Mediterranean. Dermatologist Macrene Alexiades- Armenakas reveals that the secret to obtaining  beautiful Mediterranean skin and hair is olive oil. What oil does is it provides fatty acids that are vital for skin, hair and nails, while containing antioxidants that prevent toxic damage. Use it on eggs, salads, or sprinkled over any veggies or light pastas. Who knew olive oil had so many uses?

Here Fishy, Fishy, Fishy!
Studies show that women who have high levels of fish oil in their blood had the least amount of telomere shortening, a known marker for aging. Omega-3 has been shown to decrease sagging and wrinkling. The cheapest way to ageless skin is to grab a bottle of omega-3 fattty acids and take daily. For all you sushi fans, you can even have young skin the delicious way by hitting up your favorite sushi restaurant. More salmon please!

Who would have thought that four steps to a younger glowing face was in the kitchen of your own house. So skip that trip to the doctors with scary needles and enjoy fabulous skin the organic way!
