Going Lacy

Lace has definitely made a comeback and will be staying around for Fall and Winter. No longer restricted to the boudouir, lace is being used on everything from clothes to shoes, adding texture and a touch of femininity. Stylish A-listers are wearing lace tops and frocks on the red carpet as well as on the streets.

Just in time for fall looks, Kate Bosworth’s vintage lace dress with sheer sleeves makes her look polished and refined. Whether you’re on the red carpet or going to work, you can mimic this look to make lace your go to outfit at the office.

The Hill’s reality star, Kristin Cavallari dresses this nude lace top up with a black leather skirt, its simple yet sassy and perfect for a night out.  By adding black to her ensamble she can now sport this look into fall.

Or try a runway ready day look by dressing a simple lace nude top with camel colored trousers and a leather belt like the look from Stella McCartney’s collection.

Now, the SwimSpot spin on lace. The Topanga Sharon Dress by Ella Moss has eyelet fabric which gives a similar illusion to lace. It’s still summer here in California so try pairing this cute Ella Moss cover up with a few gold bangles - perfect for a trip to the beach!

Just remember, don’t overdo it and accessorize minimally! Try using only one bold accessory when sporting lace - like a long gold necklace or a statement bangle. Take the tips from these A-Listers and you will be sporting lace far into the fall and winter months.
