History Of The Bikini

Since the dawn of time, how much women should wear has been a huge target of controversy.  The bikini of course raising the most eye brows.

Let’s first take a look at the 4 types of swimwear for Women:

1. FULLY CLOTHED (The Purist)

The Purist’s aim is to reveal nothing, keeping intrigue and mystery at the heart of her game.  She is stealthy yet stays warm, functional yet wet, at the beach yet an Eskimo.  One cannot help but stare at the woman who is sure to be the center of attention.

2. THE ONE PIECE

ONE PIECE - Now here’s where it starts to get interesting.  The one-piece swimsuit usually covers a female's torso.  The ONE PIECE is for a woman who wants to be conservative and modest yet is willing to show a little more skin.   There is still some mystery but now you can start to see the details of the beautiful woman underneath.  Is she a sexy Librarian or a Soccer mom on the prowl?

3. THE TWO PIECE

TWO PIECE - The pinnacle of sexiness.   A woman who conveys beauty and confidence without saying a word.   With her TWO PIECE she will captivate your eyes and your imagination and have you begging for more.   She is fun for the whole family.

4. OTHER (The Extremist)

OTHER - not your typical swimsuit

She knows what she’s got and is happy to show it to the world.  Give her some dental floss, a banana peel or some pasties and you’ve got a swimsuit.  She’s the MacGyver of the swimsuit world.   The extremist will give you a show and your grandmother a heart attack.  Not for the faint of heart.

  • Look Good, Feel GoodFall is finally here! Time to dig up those scarves, boots, and cardigans buried deep inside your closet. In terms of fashion, this is definitely my favorite time of year – I especially love the bold pops of color that are trending this season. And of course, the layers! But unfortunately, being bundled up in sweaters and coats doesn’t quite give me the motivation to work out. I won’t be sporting a bikini any time soon anyways so what’s the point, right? Wrong! We’re all aiming for that perfect beach body once Spring rolls along, so why not start working for it now? Getting toned and fit is a gradual process—although I’m sure we all wish it would happen overnight. Swimsuit season will be coming around the corner before you know it, so save yourself from the intense dieting and exercise the week before spring break and start now!
