For Audrina, Less is Definitely More

Audrina Patridge is definitely one of the “it” girls of the season. Why? We really don’t know. But she is, and we have an opinion of the women’s swimwear she chooses to show-off from Vegas to the Skybar pool at the Mondrian in LA. In our opinion, when you wear women’s swimwear and you are a celebrity, you better make sure you’re looking your best because the paparazzi will definitely have their lenses focused right on your rear.

Audrina craves a one-piece with the feel of a bikini but not the exposed belly-button. So she’s all about going simpler with the cutouts. Sure, Audrina's more modest black suit (shown above) still runs the risk of giving her burn lines that turn her tummy into a Twister board, but it also looks way more comfortable than the jumpsuits that Rihanna and Lady Gaga rock without sacrificing sex appeal.

Here are a few monokini women’s swimwear suits that we know if Audrina were to rock at Wet Republic in Vegas, we’d surely be seeing in the pages of People Magazine.

Here is one of our faves. The Guess Jailhouse Rock Women’s Swimwear Monokini. Featuring the signature GUESS monogram and side ties, if you are lucky enough to rock a size 4 bod, this suit could be the right one for you. This isn’t your grandma’s women’s swimsuit.

This is another sexy GUESS bathing suit that we love. This Guess Gather Round G-Cut Monokini has a daring plunging neckline that is sure to attract everyone’s attention at the beach, and make you feel like a celebrity like Audrina.

For you girls who want to be sexy but don’t want to sacrifice the fun- add a little bit (or a lot!) of eye-catching color to your women’s swimwear to instantly brighten up the beach and command the spotlight. This Nailed-it Monokini One Piece Swimwear from Reef is sure to bring out the active, energized and spontaneous side in you!

Audrina may not be our favorite celebrity of the moment, but we can agree she is putting her fame to good use and making sure she is looking good in whatever swimsuit she pulls out of her closest. And by closet, I mean any suit that she gets for free from a PR agency or stylist that would do cartwheels if she’d sport their client’s finest silhouettes. You might not have your own personal stylist like Audrina, but we know The Spot is your go-to blog for the latest fashion tips and women's swimwear advice!

In terms of fashion, this is definitely my favorite time of year – I especially love the bold pops of color that are trending this season. And of course, the layers! But unfortunately, being bundled up in sweaters and coats doesn’t quite give me the motivation to work out. I won’t be sporting a bikini any time soon anyways so what’s the point, right? Wrong! We’re all aiming for that perfect beach body once Spring rolls along, so why not start working for it now? Getting toned and fit is a gradual process—although I’m sure we all wish it would happen overnight.
