Hi! I thought today would be perfect for me to introduce myself to the fans of SwimSpot. I’m Kelly Paul, the co-creator of the NEXT by Athena Ambassador Program. As you know, NEXT is one of SwimSpot’s fabulous brands.
I’m a little biased toward NEXT. I’m active. I teach yoga and Pure Barre. NEXT active wear is perfect for my lifestyle and me. So I’ve stepped up to be the QUEEN BEE of the Ambassador Program.
Here is a bit of background on what has led me to this exciting new journey.
I’m a Southern California native - born and raised. After working in the commercial development/construction industry for seven years I decided it was time for a change - a change that would better me inside and out.
For over 10 years I’ve practiced yoga in search of my inner OM. So after my work/life epiphany I decided to make yoga – along with Pure Barre – my life and professional focus. It was time to OMMYSOUL!
Cleverly, I created Om My Soul, a fun loving personal yogic experience biz. I’ve also recently partnered Om My Soul with Newport Surf Camp to teach a yoga/surf experience on the Newport peninsula.
In the midst of my yogic studies I was graciously asked to take P1 training to become a Pure Barre instructor. After lots of studying, training, tucking, pulsing, and pressing, I’ve become certified and now teach at Pure Barre in Mission Viejo, CA.
Being an advocate for change, I’m heavily involved with the philanthropic world and the career advancement of young professionals. I currently sit on the board for I HEART HUMANITY and the council for yHOPE. I’m a cause girl. While finding a new life for me, I decided to reach out and help others find a healthier life. A better life.
Between teaching yoga, instructing Pure Barre, and donating time and energy to the philanthropic world, I’ve stepped up to be the first NEXT Ambassador. I am a busy bee and loving every second of it!
NEXT is a perfect fit for me. NEXT is a line that bridges swim-to-active, letting the “On-the-Go-Lady” bounce from the beach to the gym. Whether teaching yoga on the beach, attempting (and I mean attempting) to surf, running the stairs at Newport Harbor or pushing and tucking my way through a Pure Barre class, NEXT is with me.
SwimSpot and I have some love brewing, so the S-Spot team has invited me to be a guest contributor on The Spot.
