Hey Everyone!!
My name is Parissa Amerinouri, a fairly new intern here at SwimSpot.com. With summer actually starting a few days ago, I cannot express how happy I am that the sun is out! On the days that I won’t be working and taking business and public health summer classes at UC Irvine, I know that I will be spending a lot of my time at the beach. In fact, going to the beach is probably my favorite thing about summer. Once the weather is warm enough and these Pacific Ocean waters down the coast of California are not nearly freezing, I love to swim in the ocean, lay out in the sand, and have bonfires once the sun starts to set. But before I drive down PCH to choose which Orange County beach I want to spend my day at, I love shopping for bathing suits. It’s actually fun being able to work at a company that allows me to work with fashion and swimwear on a daily basis.

My personal favorite swimwear lines that SwimSpot has to offer are Guess, Luxe by Lisa Vogel, and Ella Moss. A couple pieces that I have had my eyes on are the Guess She’s Ditzy Triangle Bikini Top and Guess She’s Ditzy G cut Retro Bikini Bottom to match. I am a sucker for floral print, and love the ruffle detail on this designer Guess bathing suit. Another piece that I absolutely love is the Luxe by Lisa Vogel Opening Day Bandaeu Bikini Top and matching banded bikini bottom.

Bandeaus are my absolute favorite style of bikinis because I hate getting awkward tan lines. The bandeau style promises zero tan lines! If I don’t fall in love with the new lines coming out, these two swimsuits are my planned purchases for the season. Because I am a fan of Ella Moss clothing, it is no surprise that I love the designer’s swim dresses and cover-ups. The Sahara Shana Tunic is my absolute favorite one, in black and white! As soon as I get some vacation planned for the summer, I’m grabbing myself one of these.

Speaking of vacations, I really hope to go somewhere tropical this season. I ventured through Cabo San Lucas with my family last summer, and had a blast! The beaches, food, village shopping, and nightclubs were all so fun and exciting. However, of all the cities in Mexico that I have been to, Puerto Vallarta is my favorite. Because I have been there 3 times, I strongly recommend the town to anyone of any age, and any lifestyle preference. There is something for everyone there. Serene views, calm lounges, lively beaches, quiet beaches, high end shopping, village shopping, night clubs for all ages, and restaurants fit for every palette. Talking about Puerto Vallarta is making me want to head down there asap!
Another great thing I love about the summer season is the lowered amount of stress that fills the air. Granted it’s only the students that are on 100% vacation with no school to worry about, and that work is an all season program, people just seem more relaxed. Maybe it’s the sun that put people in a better mood, but whatever it is – its great! With my extra free time this season, I hope to get some good reading in, do well in my summer classes, and venture into my new job at SwimSpot. I can’t wait to see what else this summer has in store for me. Maybe some great food, good company, and a better tan can be my cherries on top!
Cheers to Summer!
Xx,
Parissa A.
