Pilate Your Way to a Beach Body!


Longing for that perfect beach body? Pilates is the answer! Do twenty minutes of Pilate exercises four days a week, add on fifteen minutes of cardio, and you’ll have a bikini-bod in no time. It’s as simple as that! Eating healthy of course will only benefit your health so be sure to follow that nutrition triangle. Eat those veggies and drink that water!

Here are some Pilate’s exercises that you can easily do in your living room…



Front Lift: Stand with feet shoulder-width apart and lift one leg up to form a 90 degree angle with your standing foot. Lift arms straight up above your head at the same time. Hold for 2 counts then continue into a front lunge.

Front Lunge: As you do a forward lunge, bring both arms straight out to your sides at shoulder height. Then rise and repeat starting from the front lift. Repeat with opposite leg.

Leg Pull: Start in push-up position with hands under shoulders. Lift leg to hip height. Lift and lower leg repetitively.

Push-Up: After the leg pull, do 5 push-ups. Then continue with the leg pull and repeat.
