Pure Barre

Is your cardio routine leaving you stuck at a plateau? Try the newest and fastest growing technique around the country called Pure Barre! Pure Barre is a 55 minute class that involves light hand weights, medicine balls, resistance bands, and of course a ballet bar, hence the name. Need new workout clothes to go along with the class dress code? Stock up on Next by Athena gear. And don’t forget to pick up the grippie socks at your local Pure Barre class!

The class is instructed by extremely trained professionals, who have a background in dance, fitness, sports, and even medicine. Not only is the technique extremely effective in shaping your body but it is safe too! Lots of women have damaged their bodies from prolonged strenuous activities like running and tennis, but with the Pure Barre technique it allows you to shift the strain in your body relieving tension in those easily overworked joints. Afraid of looking like a body builder? No worries, the class uses light hand weights and lots of stretching, making sure your body leans out rather than bulking up.

Although Pure Barre has been open since 2001, only now is it all the buzz on everyone’s lips. Studios are now opening around the country; coming soon to Mission Viejo, CA, Scottsdale, AZ, Broomfield, CO, Denver, CO, Santa Rosa Beach, FL, Las Vegas, NV, Austin and Dallas, TX,  Seattle, WA, Raleigh, NC, and Philadelphia, PA. Need more convincing? Pure Barre has been featured in Fitness magazine as well as Women’s Health. Other magazines including Beverly Hills Lifestyle, Riviera, OC Metro and Allure. Don’t read magazines anymore? You can also check them out on nearly every news channel across the U.S.

We must warn you that this class is intense! Almost everyone who takes this class thinks they couldn’t be in better shape.  After Pure Barre, even personal trainers are feeling the burn! However, this technique really does transform your body unlike any fitness class of its kind. It can be pricey for the average person but it’s worth it! They also have great first timer packages, student discounts, and summer deals as well.

Speaking of the Devil (swimsuits), summer is around the corner! Let’s face it; all of us could add a little extra LIFT, TONE and BURN to our routines!
