Last month, the Women’s Health staff had the opportunity to mingle with our counterparts at Men’s Health at one of New York City’s hottest new restaurants. Days later, the party pix went online and my coworkers couldn’t stop complimenting me. I logged on to view the photos and found the source of my mojo: My blazing tangerine dress stood out in a sea of neutral corporate casual. Obviously, a bold color makes a strong statement in both ready-to-wear and swimwear. It behaves almost like a spotlight, so wearers beware: All eyes will be on you. That might sound traumatizing in a swimsuit but you can temper the situation with a silhouette that serves your figure best.
