Adriana’s Style Tip –
No one is perfect so we all have to work with what we have. Personally I’m bigger in the bust so I choose to wear triangle tops so I can adjust where it sits. Triangular tops help down play the bust without bringing too much attention your assets. It offers a great balance for those who have an inverted triangular shape. I also tend to carry most of my weight at my waist line so I prefer a side tie bottom which I can adjust. The side bottom helps hide those flaws you aren’t so confident about. This is especially good for women who are in between sizes.
Dana’s Style Tip –
Did you see Dancing with the Stars bombshell Cheryl Burke in her sassy royal blue Luxe by Lisa Vogel bikini?! Cheryl really looked amazing! In addition to this sexy and flattering swimsuit -- Cheryl added some bling to her look. Women, adding a little "sparkle & shine" to your swimwear ensemble is a great idea. I would suggest picking one area and adding a touch of glitz there! Some of my favorites are the St. Bart's bangles and Glitzy hoops. These pretty crystals reflect the summer sun for glistening appeal. A great pair of stylish flip-flops also fits the bill. Sparkely Floret flip flops are both comfortable and add that something special to your outfit. Be both daring and confident like Cheryl Burke! 'Tis the season to shed your inhibitions and really have fun with your summer look, ladies!
Katty’s Style Tip –
Purple is the color for 2010. Show off your inner fashionista by creating the perfect outfit – purple of course! The
Met Long Triangle Bikini Top has topaz stones on the band which pick up purple in the sunlight. Simple yet stunning. The
Met bottoms have that same topaz stone on the side, so be sure to strut your stuff poolside! The
Smithsonian Dress by LUXE by Lisa Vogel is the perfect cover up option. Easy to put on halter top with ferocious purple animal print. Add a pair of black gladiators and you are set to show off your inner fashionista.
Thea’s Style Tip –
Some women are blessed with naturally toned arms or enviably tiny waists. Others have the discipline to sculpt muscular ridges onto their taught tummies. Sadly, I’m not a member of either camp, so bikini season always strikes me with a special sense of dread..until this year. What I’m loving about summer 2010 is the
St. John Solid One Piece Swimsuit —reminiscent of Roman togas—that draw attention to slim, feminine shoulders. If you're really loving one-piece swimsuits, be sure to try on an
athena hypbrid one piece siwmsuit. I recently interviewed celebrity stylist
Robert Verdi on how to dress like you’re 10 pounds slimmer (check out his tips and more in the April issue of
Women’s Health), and he told me that no matter how much weight you pack on, your shoulders rarely reflect it. So even if you’ve still got a long way from your best bikini body, toss on one of these figure-flattering silhouettes for an instant style and ego-boost.
