Hallow’s Eve is just around the corner, but thinking of a cute wallet friendly costume is always hard. Instead of throwing on your old witch hat that you resort to every year, try taking yourself back to a different decade. You can still look fabulous while celebrating Halloween!
1920’s
For a classic look, go all the way back to the 1920’s. No need to search Halloween shops for a dress, stick to the trendy shops since fringe is in. Word on the street is H&M has black flapper-like dresses in stock. Don’t forget the finishing touches a feather headband and clutch. You’ll be ready to jazz the night away in a classy style.

1960’s
Look sexy and sophisticated by taking yourself back to the 1960’s. Think the stylish ladies of Mad Men. Channel their polished, put-together style to create the perfect Halloween outfit. Swing by your local thrift store after work and play dress up. To complete the look, be sure to pin up your hair, dab on some lipstick, and find the finishing accessories: gloves, pearls, etc to magnify the look.

1990’s
If you’re looking for something not so dated then the 1990’s are for you. Heck, you probably have some mismatched prints hiding out in the back of your walk-in closet. If you don’t, improvise with pairing menswear with an old dress. You’ll be looking fabulously 90’s in seconds without splendid a dime!

So whether you take our stylish costume tips or create your own unique look, we at SwimSpot.com want to hear what your dress up plans are for Hallow’s Eve. Enjoy playing dress up as it only comes once a year.
Happy Trick or Treating,
