It’s that time of the year again when we open up our seasonal SwimSpot pop-up stores! With the grand opening of our Irvine Spectrum location, we held our 2nd Annual Launch Party on March 9th. The fun-filled evening included music by DJ Akim and free food and drinks donated by Wahoo’s Taco, Peace Tea, and Primo Hawaiian Beer. The fun didn’t stop there. The SwimSpot staff raffled off prizes such as Primo gear and SwimSpot VIP cards. The money we received from the raffle and generous donations went to the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) organization.
CASA is a non-profit organization that trains community volunteers to serve as powerful mentors and advocates for our community's most severely abused, abandoned, and neglected children. CASA volunteers are everyday citizens judges appoint to advocate for the safety and well-being of children who have been removed from their homes due to parental abuse and neglect. They stand up for these children and change their lives.
