Whether it be arriving on the red carpet in a giant egg like Lady Gaga or in classic black and white like the members of Lady Antebellum, this year’s Grammy’s did not fall short of jaw-dropping and fascinating fashions. On the night of the recording industry’s most prestigious award ceremony, most celebrities traded in the glitz and glam for out-of-this-world fashion, showing up past year’s contenders for worst, or let’s say unique and creative looks at the Grammy’s. Let’s start off with the looks we couldn’t keep our eyes off of, literally.
Nicki Minaj, known for her outrageous style, did not disappoint and left us speechless in her all leopard attire. And as for the hair, Nicki told reporters “It’s a wig!”
Back on the 2001 Oscar red carpet, Bjork dawned the infamous swan dress that had people talking for years! Florence Welch from Florence and the Machine wore her version of swan attire this year in this Givenchy Haute Couture gown that definitely says that the dog days are over!
As much as we love Rihanna, her Jean Paul Gaultier gown, although leaving very little to imagine, did not do her any justice.

As for the stunners of the night, the hot trend was glitter, glamour, and more glitter. The amount of celebs rocking the metallic on the red carpet could have blinded everyone, but in the midst of all this, each celeb looked fabulous in their gowns.
Kim Kardashian almost didn’t show up to the Grammy’s this year because she couldn’t get her Kaufman Franco gown to fit over her famous butt, but we are glad the tailors could fix this problem because she looks like a bronze goddess.
Another woman who loves to flaunt her curves is Jennifer Lopez, arriving in a short mini dress by Emilio Pucci. Paired with killer Christian Louboutin studded heels, its no doubt that Jenny from the block is back!

A departure from her more conservative choices, Selena Gomez chose to wear this sparkling gold gown by J. Mendel. Talk about growing up fast, this Disney star is definitely on the right track.
As if winning the Best Female Country Vocal Performance wasn’t enough to give Miranda Lambert a glow, her Edition by George Chakra gown showed off all of the right curves while her arm candy, fiancé Blake Shelton made us sing “my, oh my you’re so good lookin.”

From star-studded collaborations on stage to pyrotechnics and never before seen footage of Katy Perry’s wedding, the 2011 Grammy’s hosted at the Staples Center on February 13th managed to not fall short of amazing. If you tuned in on Sunday, you have to agree that the fashions this year were jaw dropping and definitely fascinating to say the least.
Xoxo,
