US Open Swimwear Attire

Ever since I moved to SoCal I’ve been totally into learning how to surf.  Luckily for me SoCal’s Huntington Beach is host to the US Open of Surfing-perfect way to scope out some real surfers for inspiration. I’m hoping my all-time favorite, Kelly Slater will be there!  What a perfect way to show off my new women’s swimwear look. Not sure if I should go with my favorite retro bikini, my new triangle bikini, or that sexy Guess swimwear monokini I’ve been eyeing lately on SwimSpot.com.

Not only will Kelly hopefully be there, but so will newcomer hottie Tanner Gudauskas.  The San Clemente cutie is exciting to surf against the world’s best on his own territory saying, “It’s a fun time to play on a more even playing field in conditions where you feel comfortable. Growing up in Southern California, I have always looked forward to being a part of the US Open and this year is no different. I can’t wait to put that jersey on and have a go!”.  I definitely can’t wait to watch him have a go that’s for sure! Tanner seems like down home kind of guy, so maybe I should go with a look that more suiting to that style, something like Hurley’s Camo Reversible Halter Bikini Top. This way I can rock both sides of my swimwear style this summer, camo for the tomboy in me and the floral side when I want to be a little more flirty.  Either way, I can’t wait to test out all of my new bikinis and my surfing knowledge at the US Open!

  • Look Good, Feel GoodFall is finally here! Time to dig up those scarves, boots, and cardigans buried deep inside your closet. In terms of fashion, this is definitely my favorite time of year – I especially love the bold pops of color that are trending this season. And of course, the layers! But unfortunately, being bundled up in sweaters and coats doesn’t quite give me the motivation to work out. I won’t be sporting a bikini any time soon anyways so what’s the point, right? Wrong! We’re all aiming for that perfect beach body once Spring rolls along, so why not start working for it now? Getting toned and fit is a gradual process—although I’m sure we all wish it would happen overnight. Swimsuit season will be coming around the corner before you know it, so save yourself from the intense dieting and exercise the week before spring break and start now!
