Just because you work in an office all day doesn’t mean you can’t look pretty and prim. Spending an extra couple minutes on your hair or makeup can take you from dull to darling. And we’re sure your boss and coworkers appreciate a well-groomed you. Here are some beauty tips that are simple and workplace appropriate. Best of all, you will be looking fabulous for your post-work festivities.
Side Parted Waves
The trick to getting this flawless look is to use smoothing serum after washing your locks. Part hair to the side and continue to blow-dry. When styling, lay low on the hairspray so your waves are bouncy not stiff. You are sure to have voluptuous waves with major glam appeal.
Sleek, Straight Hair
This is my go-to style on a daily basis for work. Straightened hair makes you instantly look well-groomed and polished. When straightening, be sure to take small sections of hair at a time. This will ensure you get sleek, sophisticated work hair.
Black Headband
This accessory will become your best friend on days that you are running behind schedule or when your hair just won’t cooperate with you. Before placing the headband on your head, secure hair in a low pony or high bun. Either look is super chic and takes less than 5 minutes to do.
The Summer Smokey Eye
Trade in your harsh charcoal and black palette for one with more earthy tones. Apply medium brown eye shadow at the base of your eye and gradually get lighter as you work up to your eyebrow. To pump up the look use gold eye shadow for highlights.
Pink Pout
The quickest fix of all – your lips. By adding a pop of pink to your lips you can instantly change your appearance. Be sure to apply chap stick throughout the day to keep your lips hydrated. This look is feminine and catchy without being overbearing – just what you need at the work place!
Use these work worthy beauty tips to pull together a classic, chic look that will have you looking picture perfect. Because we all know it’s our turn to be Employee of the Month! Smile pretty for your close up!
