SWIMSPOT: What is your approach to get bikini ready in time for a vacation?

LINDA WAGNER: Before a beach vacation I make sure to drink lots of green smoothies and eat kale salad. I also drink a simple detox tea each morning and try to get my body moving for at least 20-30 mins, even if it’s just a walk with my dog!

SS: What’s your go-to summertime recipe?

LW: I LOVE acai bowls! They are nutrient dense, delicious and super healthy. Such a refreshing treat on a hot summer day.

SS: What’s one tip that helps you stay healthy on the go?

LW:  I always make sure to have something green at each meal. Even if you are travelling or constantly on the move, you can always find something green!

SS: Exercise is also a key factor in living a healthy lifestyle. What’s your exercise routine?

LW:  I stick to activities that I enjoy. Hiking, swimming, riding my beach cruiser, paddleboarding, and tennis are all activities that make me feel like a kid again. I have so much fun doing them that it doesn't feel like exercise! I hate gyms so I always try to enjoy my time outdoors in the fresh air and sunshine.
